How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Just bought this. Sleeve less braided trim, steerhide Hercules.. this is the Roughwear version. I have a CSC version with sleeves. Just had to have it. I don't recall these were done in horsehide.

Here’s a CSC braided trim in horsehide.

forgot to update. The seller cancelled the sale the same day. I was crushed!

Hate when that happens. Just recently had a seller cancel the sale only to re-list for more money.

That hide looks spectacular!!
Thanks, yeah I noticed that too. I just now noticed that it is a "flat back" so no action back portions around the sleeves.

I had checked the dimensions pretty closely.

It's likely going to need a zipper, or maybe the insertion pin can be repaired?

Just about the time I was not going to pick up anything more, I made a wild toss bid on this one and won it. At least I think this Cal should fit. Any clues on the "tag name?" It looks like a true-Cal-Leather but maybe made for a store?
Back on the day, "Cal sometimes did not label their jackets".
That straight from Cal current owner. I have spoken to her many times and visited their shop several occasions. She goes to explain that some jackets went out to retailers using their own labels. I know of several, but my favorite is the Pasadena retailer Milne Bros, located walking distance to my house. Old school shop.
I think Photo mentioned in above quote

Few of these show up, but I did not recall seeing a horsehide until now. I don't think they are listed in the catalog in horsehide. Interesting to see.

Here we are discussing the finer details. Have to put this in the Sears MC thread.

I didn't pay much, didn't need it, worth the $100 bucks to me. I didn't know I was "stealing" something. Most folks here didn't see much use for it. Someone gave them more, I would guess. Just a funny ending to a post. I've got one with sleeves.

Rolled the dice on this unlabeled jacket. Can anyone help identify this guy? I believe it may be an early 50’s Sears Hercules, horse hide, possibly made by Blatt. Due to the Red Plaid liner, all Conmar zips, orange pocket liner and general styling. Also it was shipped from Chicago.

Nothing authentic this time guys, but a Japanese B6 style in cream goatskin Italian leather with cream alpaca style lining, something practical that looks good, strange how the Japanese choose Italian brand names haha this one is Lazzi, they also have another known here Roberto Massini.

You may be correct with the Blatt name. Look in the Sears MC thread, there will be many early plaid lined Hercules to compare.
