You can always tell him he looks more distinguished in glasses and get him to wear a pair with clear glass...

It's few years since the surgery and now he needs glasses at night (or at the movies). He went and got a pair on his own though, and didn't consult me about which ones looked best on him! Ah well, he picked an ok pair.

And he know s how I feel about guys in glasses, and teases me about it.
