As BK and HK have pointed out, the eBay market for vintage '30s-'40s suits has been down for the past few months, and may continue to slide. Someone could get this suit for a nice price.

In this case, there are some clearly disclosed spots on the lapels, unfortunately. But for them, I'd be very interested in this suit. I'd love a 40s three-piece, it has great fabric, and it appears to be almost exactly my size.

It seems to be even worse for 50's suits.

It seems to be even worse for 50's suits.

It's across the board, except for incredibly exceptional '20-'30s suits. (And THOSE have be belted-back AND have all the other bells and whistles: three-piece, really fantastic fabric and color, iconic silhouette, etc.)
