Hello, gentlemen. I like collecting and studying vintage leather jackets but this one I still haven't been able to identify the brand over years(even AI came out!). It's time to ask for help.
The zipper and lining replaced, sleeve cuffs removed so there's no tag or brand name anywhere.
It looks like a 1930's cutting to me. The stand up collar, yoke design, back panels and half-belt with hammer-on buckles should be quite recognisable.
Please let me know if you have seen any brand similar, thank you!

Where did you get it?

I'm not an ID expert like others in this forum, but if I had to guess, I'd say it looks of European origin to me based on the design on the back.

Not an exact match, but similar pattern on the back of this German jacket:

Looks Canadian to me. I've seen similar jackets made by "Perfect Leather Garment" from Toronto.
Yes! The closest example I've ever saw is Canadian 'Hudson Bay', but I can't find any info about it(instead of wool jacket). So is the Toronto "Perfect Leather Garment". Hope I can dig more history about it. Thanks for the clue!

Thanks! The York details is similar but just the sleeve-attach stitching methods are so different. German did 'sleeve above body'(creating a 'rope shoulder' like tailoring jacket), which American and Canadian did the opposite.
