It is hard to say from the photos but it looks like it would feel too short for me personally - I think also the fact it is hanging so high is just highlighting the space around the waist area but that could also just be the low camera angle.

Evening people. Just purchased this Aero CXL FQHH Highwayman. It’s great and fits perfectly on the shoulders. I am thinking the waist might be too larger however, as this is a boxy jacket and I have a thinner waist. What are your thoughts? First two photos are with the side straps pulled tight, and the last two are with them at rest.
It's not about the size. This jacket is a replica of the classic 1950s style. Therefore, it has a box-shaped design. If you're not satisfied with this, you should consider the Aero Premier 1930s Highwayman jacket. This jacket has a slim fit.

Thanks for the replies guys. In terms of length. I love a shorter jacket. I usually wear high waisted jeans and I think this would drape a little more with wear. Glad to have found this community!
