I use hat hangers. They are semi-circular so they don't affect the shape of the hat.

As we all accumulate new hats over the years the issue of storage begins to be an issue at least with me it does. Over these past few weeks I have acquired several new hats when I was only planning on buying 3. I own a travel case and a metal one that holds 5 hats . The other night I ordered one of those closet keepers from Amazon so I could possibly get rid of the boxes I have. However now I am doubting the durability of said expandable boxes.
Several years ago I had to ditch several hats because I was moving across the country but now it has become a question of clutter

I had to move a few hats out of the guest bedroom as we had … guests. Nowhere for the hats to go, so I put them in the truck (the ones in the bed on a new tarp) and parked it in the shop. Then had to move them all back. I may have a hat problem.

So I assume even $200 + fur hats are treated like wool felts or cheap straws ? Eventually the allure wears off ?

This was up for auction and supposedly from the Missouri Governor’s mansion. I thought with a couple of hat stands added it would have been a cool piece to stage the week’s hat selections. There are three shelves for the tall “curio” on the right. Alas, not enough funds and no space meant it was not to be.

Only $500, but I had a plumber coming for an issue so held back from bidding past that amount.
It was very unusual — or maybe not, but I had never seen a piece quite like it.

Temporary storage (as guests are coming this weekend). Not sure if it’s that I don’t believe that admonition not to put your hat on a bed or I’ve just given up on ever being lucky. There are two guest room beds like this right now.
