I might get the brim cut down more eventually, but for now the wide brim serves its purpose perfectly as rain protection.

Was 3.75'', now is 3.5''. Though with the crown now an inch or so shorter, I shoulda had it trimmed down to 3 1/8. Or maybe just take off the bead band. Ah well, I'll leave it as it is for now.

How low is the crown now? Looks about 4.5"....

It's about 4.75'' at it's highest point I think, about 4.25-4.5'' near the front. It has some front/back taper due to my being Long Oval, but the sides are nice and straight. It'll look better on me once my hair grows back out.

If I had Billy Jack's physique and foot-to-face skills, it wouldn't be a problem. With this hat I'm trying to create a sort of downscaled, urbanized BotP. I gotta do it piece by piece though, because once you trim something off, it's gone.
