Hi, I am new to the Fedora Lounge. My husband was always a collector of hats and he belonged to this forum years ago. I have over 100 fedoras and cowboy hats in total. Some are vintage some are newer, and all are in either heavy plastic cases, original boxes or plain boxes. I have tried to start putting them on eBay, but I just don't know anything about most of them. and the research has proved to be tiresome and unhelpful mostly. I feel as though I'm asking too much for some and not enough for others. We have now moved to a much smaller home due to my husband's health. He is no longer able to speak and cannot help me with this process. Our home has always been non-smoking and these hats have been stored like little precious babies. Obviously, the best answer for me would be to sell them in bulk, is that even a thing. That would be a miracle, and I know, I'm just being lazy. As far as I can tell, most of the hats are size 7 to 7 1/4. Honestly, I don't believe any are super rare or expensive, but you never know, he collected for many years.

Thank you so much
Paula

Create a thread and an impromptu auction here; one or a few at a time. The folks here won't rip you off, especially if they know other members are watching. The results will sort out which are the premium ones. Read through posts here to get an idea of what is important to photograph; especially on the inside. Decent photographs will serve as a description and make it much easier on everyone.
