Box Pleat in back of shirt

How do you iron a box pleat in the back of your shirt? I usually iron it all the way down, I see them done half way down. Which is preferred?

The last time the pleat goes all the way down on one of my shirts is when I unwrap it to throw it in the wash the first time. I like the way it looks, just not patient enough when I iron to bother with it.

Flatten it out as much as possible, all the while cursing the guy who thought it was a good idea. lol

Mine often invert themselves about halfway down.

Most of mine get ironed about half way. I have one shirt, from Mexx, with the box pleat stitched the entire length, so it was ironed the entire length. Too bad it's a ****py shirt I can't wear anymore because the stitching in the armpits popped.
