Best place to get knits replaced (2025 edition)

Can anybody point me in the direction of a good place to send a jacket to get the knits replaced?

It's a Rainbow Country, so I want somebody well-regarded for this kind of thing, with a lot of experience... somebody I can trust to do OEM-quality work.

I initially contacted Thurston Bros, as somebody suggested them in an earlier thread, but apparently they don't do that kind of work. They instead referred me to Greatleather.com. I have reached out to them a few times, but I haven't been able to get a response, so I'm looking for other suggestions.

Bonus points if they are in Los Angeles... although anywhere in the CONUS is fine. Don't want to mess with anything overseas tho.

Any help greatly appreciated, gentlemen. Many thanks!

Dena at Leather Care Specialists does good cuff work (you might just call her), and the venerable Johnson's can probably do it NP as well.

Do it yourself. Not very hard. Can you share an image of the jacket? I do the work my self because I only trust a handful of machinists who can do the job to my standards. Also, shipping a jacket, you take the chance of getting it lost. Lastly, if they mess up your jacket, what recourse do you have available for your loss. I used to do it for my close friends. But, currently my three Consew (206rb2,225,223r) machines were taken from their tables because I am rearranging my work space.
Good luck with your project. Please do your homework before releasing your jacket to a person who does not care about their crafmanship.
