That is a Ronson "Touch Tip" lighter. You can find them on eBay now and then. You're right, they are pricey!

Would absolutely love to own some of the props/matte paintings/scripts/etc. from the original Star Trek as well as the various attempts at reviving it in the '70s. Unfortunately, a little bit out of my price range at the moment, although there is one prominent Trekkie out there who owns such memorabilia.

Never owned them, but I got to keep a pair of Roy Rogers' Nudie-made pinstripe cowboy pants for a short time. I used to draft patterns for a lady who did professional costuming and she loaned them to me to measure and draw a pattern from.

The only movie prop I have is a giant squid egg from the Dustin Hoffman / Samuel Jackson / Sharon Stone film, Sphere.

I have a Russian Jumpsuit from the Movie "Red Dawn". It was a contract overrun from the movie though.
