What I actually find a bit silly about the black one is that it has a label which says (among other things) "To the English fleet". [huh]

Anyways. The biggest trick the Austrians ever pulled off was to turn Mozart into an Austrian and Germany's WWII-era leader into a German...

It is austrian. They were not connected with Germany's WWII-era leadership germany until 38. The Union jack would not have been a problem before that. "Zur englischen Flotte" is the name of a shop in Vienna and not the purpose of the suit or the name of the tailor.

I don't get it how the people in the original thread could go on with Germany's WWII-era leadership assumptions even after this was made clear. Also the seller does call it a german suit again.

I won this auction. It's a beautiful suit and it and I have a bit of history together. The first time I saw it on eBay I was outbid for it. I stumbles across it - again on eBay and this time I won it. It fits perfectly and to me it's a once in a lifetime vintage find! Absolutely love it and I'm glad it's finally mine!!

I'm 5 11 and pretty much a 40 reg so not too hard to fit. Just very lucky that this fits like a glove!
