I recommend skijöring. If you lack access to a horse, you can hook up a couple sled dogs.

I've done that before (behind horses, dogs and snowmobiles) but it was nowhere near as exiting as skitching on the streets of Chicago and NYC.

Gotta admit, this photo makes me a little queasy, but back in my younger, thinner days as an engineer's apprentice on a line crew, my lineman's boots were a godsend under a pair of climbing spikes. Never saw them as fashionable, but certainly, functional and way cool!
