A lounger is interested in an Optimo Melusine of mine. It was in the last hatsafe I looked, of course, but the search reminded me of some treasures I own.
I didn't remember this Knox at all, and it is a beautiful hat, with magnificent felt. Wow! Today must have been the first day I ever wore it.

Serious thunderstorms and some flooding since midnight. Going to be a wet one here all day. Almost no cell service right now.
Akubra Coolabah keeping my grey hairs somewhat dry. It's all good though....made it to coffee!
It's a beauty Max and a testament to how wonderful your collection is.
It's always nice to find the hidden gems one has squirrelled away. It's also nice to see you on the Lounge again and posting in one of your many envious hats.

Had to work in the field today, and it was either take a hat into people's houses or leave it in a hot car, so I went without.
I was pouting about it, so when I got home I pulled out my Art Fawcett and opened a bottle of wine while doing paperwork, and now I'm in a much better mood.
Lots of cool hat stuff in the coming days, weeks and months, but nothing going on today. Gonna have to find some other solution for this lovely new dopamine addiction I'm developing.
