Great condition, thick horsehide with wonderful grain. Contrast tan color stitching.
The Waldes zipper failed early in ownership and I had it professionally replaced with YKK zipper which works much better.

Shoulder - 18.5"
P2P - 21.5"
Sleeve - 24.25"
Hem - 19.5"
Back length - 24.5"

$950 shipped CONUS

Having worn it now, I understand why it's such a sought after jacket. The pattern is fitted yet very comfortable and not tight at all with minimal restrictions on arm movements. Does anyone know of a similar type jacket with thinner leather? I really like my RM J100, it's fitted but not restrictive with a lighter leather. I like a jacket with a collar though. (I have two jackets with Mandarin collars already)

Well my good sir you are correct ….my Hercules is one of the best cuts in my collection that’s why I like to get it in black as well. I also like the j-22 (not j-24) fitted but very very free movement. The you have the monster equally free in movement but not really fitted.

Once i receive it I'll decide if i want to keep it or release it. I'll keep you guys posted.

Its a battle between my Thedi versus the rainbow country hercules because i only want one half belt style jacket in my rotation

Received my jacket this morning. Thanks @dinhnguyen57 !! Perfect transaction and friendly guy.

As for whether or not I’m keeping it, I’m still debating. While the pattern is nice, the thedi still fits me better (and has a better pattern for my body type as well). I’m also a tad bit underwhelmed with Shinki (this is my first Shinki jacket). A bit overrated but I can see why people like it. I’ve handled a double helix semi aniline jacket and the leather isn’t too far off as it is also pit tanned just like Shinki. The “glow” was a bit less on DH but the leather ages similarly and smell of the DH was also arguably better while Shinki is more sub-dued and I didn’t experience the “botanical” Shinki smell other guys on here mentioned. Maybe an over-exaggeration haha. I will say the Shinki is a bit more supple just judging by the low wear areas

Anyways I’m going to sit on it but open to trading this for another jacket

Also I understand the Shinki different makers get for their jackets vary in characteristics. I just haven’t handled enough yet

Looks like a good fit on me? What is the difference between RC and Thedi for you? -Gaz

i just like the shorter length of the thedi and i think the proportions just flatter my body type better. I think I'll consider selling if someone offers more than what i paid (maybe like $1000 shipped CONUS) otherwise i might just keep it for now.

Also open to the idea of trading

Don’t know how much that will be yet depending on where I ship. But I just shipped something to Florida not long ago and coughed up a good amount for shipping and insurance
