Anyone a fan the Seiko Pogue "Re-interpretation"? I just picked this up and really loving it. It's definitely a great casual watch. I'm also about to pull the trigger on a Hamilton Khaki King (champagne dial) which will will be more of a dress watch. What do you think of both?

It's a great watch. I like both models.

First buy of the year guys, a nice 1940s Swiss Recta, classed as oversize for the time at 35mm, fully working, I love these old military style sub dials. I might get a leather ******** it or just leave the mesh

Another vintage looking watch has caught my eye: the Zeppelin 1921 Automatic. Don't know much about this German watchmaker, but the model I've spotted is something truly special. It might have to be on my wrist!

I knew they were linked to the original Zeppelin factory who made the infamous airships, but didn't know much more than that. Fascinating. Thanks for the link!

Honestly, I wear a Garmin Forerunner 165. Most people don't care what watch you're wearing. Only time it has really entered conversations is the sleep tracking, GPS, and workouts.

I wear my watches „for me“, just for the craic, not for impressing or so anyone.

As you said, most folks don‘t care and even if so, wouldn‘t recognize them anyway.

This is a recent buy, a lovely Swiss Recta, serial number dates it 1939, size exactly the same size as a Rolex Raleigh with the sub dial, looks similar to a Raleigh or Victory and Tudor Oyster, 29mm x 35mm, much smaller than most modern wrist clocks but I like it, runs like a dream, couple of days before having to rewind.

Received this 60s Omega Seamaster for my birthday last year. It is the best gift I've ever been given, a complete dream watch for me, understated and no bells or whistles. The only watch above it on my list is a Railmaster. This one is a solid 18k gold, not plated. Wore it for a while with the nice gold plated bracelet but even after taking it to the jeweler it would come unclasped too easily. Bought a nice leather band for it now that I like more (and also matches my new engineer boots.)
