A very long time ago when just a kid, I found myself in US Army Special Forces where Rolex was king.
Time and equally currency wrapped worn wrist. Now, I've settled for the lesser valued Seiko chronometer
picked up for a yard but still a steel steal sealed. A definite recommendation.

Just arrived, a fun watch, the Bulova lunar pilot newer edition (ie the "other" Moon watch) with the polished case and no date.... I have to admit I kind of love it

Been a Derry boy, I still have the Irish charm, however been a old Married man the wife frowns sometimes haha

Dad's descended Cork, Mom's clan came from Mulenghar. Sent packing America Famine and British.
Me charm never caught a wife and Ma admonished I would become a ''confirmed Irish bachelor.''
Irish bachelors were the worst sort ever and ran with Lucifer. All true of course.

First buy of the year guys, a nice 1940s Swiss Recta, classed as oversize for the time at 35mm, fully working, I love these old military style sub dials. I might get a leather ******** it or just leave the mesh

Thanks I'd read in the past that Recta was one of the brands issued to the German forces, in black and the champagne models, I never expected to pick one up though, the watchuseek group say it's more than good
