Mmm I agree, I love it also, Irish guy here, and raised in Northern England from a kid, my wife is Spanish, I've been here 14 years now, no plans on going back, you nailed it, the food, the people, the weather, Navidad has just officially started here now so something special again

This was many years ago, but they truly knew how to celebrate the holidays. You are very fortunate.
In Granada, we were welcomed by friends of our Spanish friends as we were traveling alone at this point. They invited us to stay the night with them and treated us like long lost and missed family/friends. Every where we went friends of friends of friends made us feel special. It was a magical experience. I would happily visit again.

Granada, Andalusia gets hot especially in the summer, beautiful though, yes I thank that I'm fortunate, the Spanish are very sociable people, there is always a fiesta or a excuse to eat and drink haha you should visit again sometime
