The Mossant, not that it's better it simply goes so well with the attire. You make our choices such a difficult pleasure Stefan.

Did the storm cross the channel last night?
It's blown itself out this morning. For church
later I shall wear this light grey Gamble
& ***n, just for Tina. I do hope that
the weather has calmed where you are.

Thank you, Robert. The storm made its way over here as well, but it wasn't too bad. Good to see that Tina keeps you well outfitted.

Today I’m wearing this morning’s flea market find, which is by far the best and most intact hat I’ve ever stumbled upon in such circumstances. It’s a blue Optimo, made for Wilkes Bashford. It is exquisitely made. I know what Optimo hats are, but if anyone knows about this particular run, I’d be interested to hear it. This hat looks like it was thrown around a bunch, but doesn’t really seem to have been worn.

Great find!!! I would love to see additional pictures of the hat if you have them. Also, I have not come across your previous posts so I wanted to say: WELCOME!!!

There was a brief clip of the storm along the coastline of Holland, Belgium and France on the television news this morning, it wasn't quite blizzard force but what a strong wind, keep safe Stefan.
Your perception does you proud, as you have guessed, Tina made most of what I was wearing in that last photo.

Today, I am wearing this woolfelt flat cap by J. Hückel’s Söhne. Founded in 1869 in Nový Jičín, Hückel earned worldwide acclaim for its velour and fur felt hats, setting the gold standard for European craftsmanship. After World War II, the Hückel factory was nationalized and merged with other historic Czech hat makers to form TONAK, a company that still produces fine hats today. This lineage makes every Hückel or TONAK piece a living continuation of over 150 years of hat-making tradition.
