Borchert Berlin W. with original carton, possibly early to mid 1950s. Not sure who Borchert Berlin W. sourced this from but it's a great Soft Felt. Unfortunately a lady sat on it by mistake and messed up the liner. I found this Soft Felt back in 2014. It was part a two hat find. The other hat was an exceptional R. & M. Wegner "Extra" Soft Felt.

This is what it originally looked like.

This Soft Felt came in this Borchert Berlin W carton.

In my opinion a fantastic logo design.

I have spent parts of the last few days watching WWII docos, but will spend this evening with family remembering our nation's fallen.

I'm still undecided what hat to wear tonight, but so far today it's been the Melton. This is my only hat with a thin brim biding on top and wide underneath.
