New Thedi jacket finally delivered. This model is called the Daskalos, very similar to the Niko but with slash side pockets. Made up in Mahogany buffalo, a nice dark brown with red tones

Hey guys, I just joined but have been lurking for about 6 months. Thanks for sharing all this great information! I saw some people asking the lead time for Thedi. I ordered (through Thurston) the last week of December. Just got the email today that they received my jacket. I ordered the Idas with minor adjustments. Extra interior pocket and zipper on right side. So it took about 112ish days. I was expecting 6-9 months so I’m happy. Will post pics when I receive!

I placed mine directly with Theodoros in February and luckily it was done in almost 60 days. Another poster on this thread has been waiting longer though so I'm not sure how he decides what to make and when. If he's traveling or doing shows it can slow things down a bit.

Wonderful, I have something similar incoming. Looks like Idas in Cocoa or Espresso Buffalo leather.

The buffalo leather Thedi uses is just incredible! the amount of shifting colors you get from it is something I've never really experienced before, just amazing stuff

Nothing unusual there. When I bought a Gore Tex motorcycle Jacket (It was in the document description)it was held up because they wanted to know what material the jacket was made from. I replied That Gore Tex Jacket was made from Gore Tex, a waterproof fabric made by W.L.Gore and Associates. It was released in a day or two.

Make sure you keep calling to follow up. Fedex said they would send me the form as a Docusign but never did. Instead they sent the form itself to Theodoros lol.

Unfortunately yes. It took 5 days to clear but I called almost every day to push it through. Glad your jacket is finally done, however.

Help deciding first and likely only custom for a few years. Debating on these two. First was inspired by a fellow forum member, a type 3 trucker. I’m going to modify two side hand warmer pockets and no bottom button, just a large brass 2 way zip.

The second is this aviator jacket off their instagram, mods are hidden side pockets behind the two large ones.

Same color in both, with cotton lining; what you think

If I were to buy, I'd go for the model that Torfjord had. I think the overall cleaner look makes it look more interesting.

Also leather wise, I think the first one was horsehide and the aviator is in buffalo, both burgundy, but the horsehide looks better I'd say - could be because of picture quality or lighting though.

I sent my final customizations over at Thurston bros on this Thedi aviator leather. It’s this exact model with some customizations
1.) antique brass buttons and zippers,
2.) two way zippers,
3.) larger zipper,
4.) leather zipper pulls,
5.) hidden pocket,
6.) brown cotton lining.
7.) On the pockets on the jacket and what attaches the shearling collar
