How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

That Joo-Kay is insanely cool!

Got my delivery of two Swedish jackets, a leather car coat/coat and a military shearling parka.

The leather jacket came with at liner that made it surprisingly warm, so it'll be perfect for those not so cold winter days :)

Also love how the goat skin has aged, while still having some heft to it, it's suuuuper soft and comfortable with a lovely grain.

Second is the beast of a military-parka that's called "livspäls" in Swedish, meaning something like "life fur" in English.
Super warm, built like a tank and very convenient with the big pockets. This one will save me when we get hit with those crazy temperatures that always finds us up here.

Will be super fun to try these beauties out in the "real" coming months.

Cheers all!

Awesome finds! I especially like the livpäls! That will for sure keep you warm all winter!

I ordered myself a non leather coat. Asphalte had a Mac esque offering in ventile fabric. I’ve wanted ventile for years so pulled the trigger. I’ve grown so tired of wearing functional gore Tex type gear when it’s raining. Looking forward to seeing how ventile performs.

Does Gore Tex not work for you in the rain?

I find I end up nearly as wet from the inside and I would from the outside. As soon as the sweat condenses to water on the inside it can’t pass the membrane.

Paramo present an alternative approach without a membrane which I’ve found works really well for me.

I tire though of heading out in the rain dressed as if I could equally be hiking in the hills. My hope is that ventile will work well enough in the rain and also remain breathable. The coat will then hopefully serve as a means to brave the weather while not looking like a mountaineer.

I guess I have always used my Gore Tex products while sedentary and haven't had that problem.

This afternoon I wore my Canada Goose to a football game. There was light rain, and the water beaded on the exterior of the shell without penetration. I have forgotten if it is Gore Tex or a finish applied to the exterior.

Please let us know how ventile works.

What's the story with USPS priority international?
I shipped a jacket just last month from Scotland to NY,6days it took from the time I dropped it off till it was delivered.
Here's my beef,I've had a Goodwear shipped on 3rd/December and tracking shows it scanned into middle***-es*** ma distribution facility,,4th Dec,then nothing, it shows still in origin country.
So much for priority!it shows in transit to next facility,,i hope that's the airport, I won't criticise uk mail ever again, and I worked for them for 34years .know all about December pressures etc .don't think I will be wearing the new jacket this Christmas:-(
