Cool! I've seen your comments on it when I was considering this one. This one is one of the older models, by what I gathered from this Forum. The label seems to be one of the older onesI've had one like that since '89. I still wear it.

The problem is that the person from who I bought said they didn't know the size (all of the pictures had that small size tag folded), and gave me some misleading measurements, so I didn't notice that the jacket is one size bigger than I should've gone with... Now it is huge on me hahaha

That's a winner. To me this jacket somehow bridges the gap between motorcycle rider and fighter pilot. The hardware us amazing, and the sleeve taper is beautiful. This jacket has a lot of class.Three boxes today. The Durable is on my back, but unzipped. I can say this; not all hype. this one is c.1950, 50s zipper pull, 40s Talon stop box, pre nylon lining.
This jacket would have been fairly new when The Wild Ones was filmed, 1952.
I did measure the sleeve zippers, 8 inches. They always stand out to me. The jacket is robust, no nonsense motorcycle jacket.
Much more to come.

Love the thick panel around the hem, breaks up the design visually and give a nice balance! Very cool jacket!Three boxes today. The Durable is on my back, but unzipped. I can say this; not all hype. this one is c.1950, 50s zipper pull, 40s Talon stop box, pre nylon lining.

Looks too big fro you all around, is there no cuff adjustment on that model either? The sleeves look quite wide with nothing to cinch it in.Just got Schott 135 delivered, unfortunately it doesn't look like a good fit at all View attachment 500410 View attachment 500409
