Before I go to town on dyeing it and whatever, I've been out today in this Bargain Bucket Beast to assess warmth and comfort and things.

It's warmed up here in the UK now, to 3°, but not much of the snow and ice is thawing yet. Over a sweater this jacket was too warm if anything, although I was hiking (as usual for a Saturday) in the woods.

First time out with my newest Thedi that I got from our @Seank
Arrived early this week but haven’t had an opportunity to wear it until today due to the cold weather.
The buffalo leather is amazing and the detachable collar and mutton vest adds quite a lot of warmth. Thanks for sending this my way Sean!

I’m not a fan of all that glamour on a jacket, but I can still appreciate the beauty of that piece. It really is a very special jacket. The studs and spiderwebs are tastefully done!

I didn't own a studded jacket yet and I felt like this 80s Schott would make the perfect canvas. When I discussed the project with 'the bandits golden belts' (who were going to do the work) I thought either go hard or go home

I thought of it more as a fun project than as a jacket I was going to wear every day.
