I love these jackets, but ideally you need a utility vest to wear under it for all your stuff

They wore the Irvin on top of their full uniforms. Incidentally, this is a detail that they maintained in Dunkirk, even though you don't see a certain actor's character's uniform underneath his Irvin.

Nothing right now, but I'm itchin' for another wool piece or two.
I'm gonna be ordering another vest from C&C sutlery out of Idaho, and I'm looking for another wool jacket.

I've been looking for one of Johnsons cruisers or NCO types in the awesom green buffalo plaid they did, but they just never pop up in my size.

I can get away with a medium ( my Woolrich is a medium) but ideally I'd like to try a more proper fitting small.

It's a relatively modern piece but $36 is a pretty good deal for an American made woolrich Mackinaw.

I wasn't even thinking about it before, but I just realized that this jacket is a double Mackinaw which will be interesting.

It's also a cruiser style too with the map pocket in the back, not something I'm I'm likely to ever need but who knows.

I'll find put when I get it, but I'm betting the zippers are probably going to be YKK.
The rear map pocket zips are coated black and from what I can see in the pictures they look YKK-ish.
The main Zipper doesn't necessarily scream YKK from what I can see, maybe a Lenzip ?

I don't know exactly when this particular label dates too, I just know it's listed as " modern ".
I'm guessing 80's-90's.
