How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Now see @Mysteryos comment on heavier for the 90th. Either of you own that one? Would love to see more on that one.

I believe this one is aniline, it has reddish brown tones from what I can see (mrproper has the same jacket) greg stopped offering this specific brown because of the difficulty matching panels. The pigment dyed shinki he offers now looks more seal brown to me.
Lucky you :) I wanted my jacket to be made from this hide as well but he told me the the remaining hide had already been spoken for.

Ah ok, Ive actually seen the Rosie before. Not in person online so Im familiar with it now that I know what it is. I would have hoped it was a bit thicker/heavier. Do you also own the 90th?
Yeah a bit disapointed but it is pretty nice overall
I don't own the 90th or the Michael, i like them both so if i can find them for a decent price i'll probably pull the trigger

Really like the style of this one -- who is the maker/what is the style? Picked up on Yahoo Auctions I'm guessing, or do you have other recommendable places to look out for?

Yes, yahoo auction Japan through buyee. A 1940s Stanhouse of Rockford Illinois. Don't know the style. Not seen anything quite like this. This one is a fairly large size 40, just tight in the waist on me. Need to loose a few pounds.

Japan yahoo auctions are interesting. See old jacket there you just don't see here in USA. Many are size 38-40, so good if you are in that size. Prices aren't out of line and neither is the proxy or shipping cost.

Pretty nice jacket :p
About buyee, are you using often? If yes are you happy with it? No abusive fees?
The other day i was thinking about trying it but feedbacks on trustpilot were pretty bad so i did not

This is the 3rd jacket I have bought through buyee on yahoo auction and it has worked very well. You have to take time and pay attention, but you learn how it works. I have done buy it now with all my purchases, most jackets seem to be listed that way. After you buy, buyee does everything. Japan Post is not delivering to USA at this time. I have used DHL which has been extremely fast. The shipping is around $50. It cost $21 to use a USPS large flat rate box for US domestic shipping and nothing fits in one, so the $50 international with quick service doesn't seem too bad.

I'm buying jackets there for the same money I would pay if they were in USA on ebay. The STanhouse is a good example, never seen one like this on ebay. There are at least two more I am considering. Size 44 is not as popular in Japan, so some advantage for my size.

I'm sure others here have used buyee or something similar. This is the only one I am familiar with.

Not familiar with FJ. Try buyee, I will look at FJ. I typically don't pay much attention to their fees, the jackets I'm buying are not available anywhere else so I guess it just part of doing business.

Yeah FJ have pretty decent fees i believe but even if it was more expensive that would be ok for me, they offer great services and they always pack items very well, last time they even found a smaller box to pack my items so i paid 150e of shipping instead of 250
But yeah i'm gonna try buyee for sure thanks to you

I have used both Buyee and From Japan many times and they are big rivals each trying to match/undercut the other all the time. Buyee used to charge 10% of the item price as bidding fee then reduced to 5% then to a fixed fee like FJ. FJ used to need the bidder to pay deposit before bidding then use the deposit to place bid (deposit will be returned if unsued within a certain period) but now allows a direct link to the credit card like Buyee. I think FJ still has a maximum direct link amount per month that if you go over, you would need to pay a deposit.
The tricky part with Yahoo Auction JP is that the end time can be extended if someone else places a higher bid. I have had auction that went on for an hour after the initial end time because every time someone places a higher bid in the last minute, the end time is extended for another 10 mins. It does not matter that your actual bid is higher, as long as someone else places a bid that trigger a move on the bid price then the time is automatically extended.

This was 3 months ago when I asked for this shade of brown as Greg had enough hide for 3 more jackets. I felt I had to get on it when I saw mrproper's jacket.

What design and hide did you end up getting?
