That chopper looks like a beast of a jacket! One of my favs
Thank you, yes, it’s quite the beast, Thurston Bros’ version with comp weight leather. Thankfully it doesn’t have the red quilted lining otherwise it would have been quite the super heavyweight! As it is, the very “beastliness” and multiple easier-to-wear jackets in my rotation means I haven’t worn it as often as I should have. Breaking in very slowly, but once broken in a bit, I think I can wear it more casually without feeling all stiff and Robocop, LOL!

Quarantine chronicles: today, pulling out my other awesome but seldom-worn jacket, the Thedi padded cafe racer. Reason? It’s a little tight in chest, armholes and sleeves. Also the inner sleeve lining is same material as the body lining and with the overall tight fit, it’s sometimes a struggle to push my arms through them. But once worn and zipped in, the lighter more pliable leather means things stretch a bit and everything gets relatively more comfortable. Of course, here too, need to wear this sweet jacket way more often and get it to fit my body better. Love the looks of this one.

Typically Thedi: feels tight in the beginning, but quickly loosens up before feeling like it should, i-e a second skin.
Looks fantastic!

Thank you for the kind words! Been a while since I got myself new jackets, just ordered a few, right in time for COVID-19 shutdowns to delay them reaching me when expected. Hopefully soon ...

Yes, they do fit like a second skin, especially when I wear only a single layer, like a t-shirt underneath. Definitely my warmer weather jacket. Wore it around the house for half the day today with a hoody underneath, can't wait for freedom from coronavirus.
