Vintage neon signs

Not so much the neon, but the trees! These are the largest street-light-pole decorations I've ever seen (Los Angeles). Where did they store these things?

Our fair city doesn't even put up any decor any more.

Even the snowflakes that were up since 1990 came down permanently in 2017.

A nearby town has a ton of era neon and it's even a requirement for building permits that the neon be restored and maintained. Also a few pics of neon in Denver and Portland.

This is how Los Angeles stored the trees during the black out restrictions of ww2. Since they could not have anything that was lit up they temporarily added Santa covers to the lamp posts for the duration of the war.

This bike shop has been operating in Springfield, Missouri since 1925. I have the 1960s era plastic outdoor Schwinn signage buried in my garage. Wonder where that neon went.
