I remember when that place first opened, probably close to 40 yrs ago. Grew up a mile or so down the street.

Airway Drive-In (St. Ann, St. Louis County, Missouri). Built in 1948. The sign was restored and repurposed for a shopping center after the theatre was demolished in late 1980s.
