And, Brent, there are many spectacular natural places in Mexico, but I don't know them. The sad fact is that I am afraid to go anywhere rural or deserted here. Way too unsafe.
Many of my friends don't feel the same way, and nothing has happened to them, but still, you read of such things in the paper, or hear about them, and it worries me.
I drive around between islands of safety within Mexico City or Acapulco, and try to do so during daytime. When I travel, I go to the US.
So, qué envidia!

It was destined to be a work hat & hang by the back door when I bought it. I reshaped it more to my liking, but I have to redo the brim every so often. It has been wet several times but never soaked thru. Sometimes the brim wants to return to it's original flange when it dries.I like the looks of those. The braided kangaroo band is a bonus.
