Looking good there too, Harv!Weis![]()
Yes it does [emoji3] the pug is raw silk. Very nice. That should provide plenty of shade, Sergej. Nice coloured pug on it too.
Thank you, Harv!Stefan, thanks!
Two lovely hats you have on display today!
Thank you, Matt. More later in the Bowler or Derby hat thread.Just tried to respond to multiple quotes with Tapatalk. Screwed up as usual. Aaaarghhh!
Thanks for the kind words about the Mac. Stefan... You will not be disappointed when you find one.
Red... I'm glad to read that Annie is going great for the theater. Community theaters are important.
Michael... Kick-*** Panama.
Max... Great new Milan.
Stefan... That bowler made my heart skip a beat.
Bowen... Wear that Fifty as long as you can. I recommend a neck mounted air conditioner. Gorgeous hat.
Msholiday.... That two tone is ubercool.
Very cool hat, Matt. That story is the icing on the cake. Wonderful piece of history. The erstwhile postal employee delivered this extraordinary Tardan handwoven Panama to my house last evening. I believe that it is a late 50s or 60s hat based upon my research of the company and my consideration of the hat's construction.
Founded by a French immigrant, Tardan was one of the (if not the) premier hat companies in Mexico. It is still family owned and continues operations. I'm just delving into its very interesting history.
I also attach a story about a very bad day at the Tardan hat shop from about 100 years ago.
Happy fiesta Friday.![]()

Very nice. If that is your size you will have no problem finding nice vintage hats.
