Old Austrian hat purchased from member Mario in Berlin some years back. I sure wish I could wear it with his style, which was always perfect.

Nice hat. Black for the antifun occasion? Hope that you figure out how to keep warm soon.
Glad to read it Bob. It sounds like a miserable few days. But, no deaths + no explosions (cold and wet or hot and dry) = reason to celebrate. Thanks Matt! It's been a cold three days while trying to heat the farmhouse with wood in an open fireplace. We kept the pipes from freezing, the heat is now back on, the house didn't blow up ... and no one died! I'll celebrate with a light colored Stetson tomorrow.
That's a century old owl my friend![]()
I was just remembering today on my cold walk into work how three years ago I asked myself the question, I wonder what a good hat would be to help me weather these Pennsylvania weather? The rest is history!

Sweet, nice and clear. Dating with the Professor's website, which is satisfying I must say.It does, Red. One of the nicest liners of all my hats too.

Love that Dobbs, Michael. Glorious coat too!
Thanks steur. And that is a really fantastic hat and coat pairing you are out and about in today. Great match up.No time to post yesterday, but I did get a quick snap (today it's the other way around). Stetson Railbird and Corneliani coat in the last days of winter.

Because of thw maker and pin style, I have a. Bunch from the early 1900 to 1950's.OWL. Now we're talkin'.![]()
Has the pin been in your family, and/or how do you know its age? Very cool.
Yup, I'd say you've found your hat.

nice color and I like the highlight in the bow. Super hat Bowen.View attachment 109818 View attachment 109820 View attachment 109821 View attachment 109822 Today it’s a 2013 Tim (Alley Kat) creation. CRM #28 in gorgeous green. Such a fine bit of art with quality upon quality.
Be well. Bowen
A bowler may have been a better choice for wind resistance. No brim to speak of on the Mirtillo though.I'd think you'd want something less aerodynamic, no?
Still, nice Borsa.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.
This one hunkers down quite well. My Angora, not so much, it would have been in a tree somewhere. Most of my borsalinos are not that fond of wind I must say. Tend to seek lift in that kind of weather. Looks good, Mike.
I just love that Railbird Stefan. It deserves to be a world traveler and be seen on the streets of Volendam. That coat looks so comfy! No time to post yesterday, but I did get a quick snap (today it's the other way around). Stetson Railbird and Corneliani coat in the last days of winter.

Glad to hear the day went well and safe. You looked good in all that potential danger. Great lines (the hat, and the propane) and super looking felt.Akubra Cattleman while checking out the replacement propane line (nothing like running the tank dry and getting no heat out of it). [emoji30]
