Outside chores this morning in a Stetson *******.

This is the unlined ******* labeled sweat, plain brim edge with the thin ribbon. While questions exist about the hat there is no doubt this is an enjoyable light weight brown hat.

Thanks! I have quite a few westerns over a range of years. I try to limit my buying to hats in my size that are in very fine condition, but occasionally make exceptions when something very interesting comes along.

I have a Bradford OR clone from that same era - I think they were already being produced by Resistol at that point. But I could very well be mistaken. Would need to see the inside reorder tag to know for sure.

Scary thing is that it's pretty windy here today. Should have worn a derby. If THE POLAR were destroyed after leaving my head, I'd have to be placed on ******* watch. So it's been riding *******.

Steve, I believe I have liked every hat I have seen you post but this one stands out. Obviously the brim stands out, but everything else, felt, liner and sweat seem to say this is a special hat. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks Cornhusker. This hat will see a lot more wear come spring as it's one that I wear quite frequently while hunting mushrooms.

A slight skiff of snow this morning in Oregon. Off for supplies in the 1950s British Battersby homburg. Nice crisp lines and brim curl on this one, very dark gray in color. Great felt too.
