THAT's the happy face we know and love, Greg!! Dorer Bar 50? SUPER lid!! From where?
BTW, the boots you were wearing two days ago (a saddle brown) were beyond amazing. Looked like they were molded to your feet, like gloves almost.
I'd go over a chain link fence barefooted, to keep from scratching those.

Thanks Richard..... I had forgotten how much I like the Disney hats! Figured I'd take 'em out for a spin. You're rockin' the Disney's the last couple of days. Looks great
Naughty and nice to be honest. I want a Disney trip...Have you been a good boy, Samuel?
That's a super derby. You wear it well!Hiya.
The Hat Fairy dropped off this nice old Regal Hat Company 5 1/4" crown derby at my house last night. (I love you, Hat Fairy. You make me happy.)
Regal was a Chicago manufacturer that seems to have mainly specialized in caps. It was owned by David Spear. Interestingly enough, his brother owned Spear & Company hats in New York. Their father was also prominent in the industry in Chicago. The two companies merged into Regal-Spear in the late 1910's.
The last ad that I can find for a Regal derby dates from 1914. The majority of all its derby ads (there aren't many) were published between 1905 (I attach one from that year) and 1907. Its advertising hook was that you could get yourself a great hat for just $2.00. I paid a little more, but I agree that it is a great hat. What feels like silk binding and ribbon is a very nice touch.
Hope that each of you is having a swell day.![]()

Thanks Serge. Yes, the green ribbon really sets off the velour I think. The coat is one of the versions of the Schott pea coat. This one is not new, but I think the same model is still in their catalog.Green ribbon is a nice touch. Great coat Btw. Vintage??

Sorry to hear that, Bob's style and wit is entertaining.Well, apparently our good friend Bob is in the soup again, this time possibly permanently. For my money, while he deserved a time out the last time (though 30 days was draconian). This time is petty and unfair. Somebody has the long knives out for Bob, and I have no idea why.
I will be contacting the powers that be to register my dissatisfaction. This is ridiculous.

Hi Justin: OUCH!! At speed, at night, glad you’re a “driver”! Sure hope everyone is ok! BUT, if you’re gonna bounce a boulder, i’ll take an old rock solid big Benz anynight!
