Jake, these are the real Angel Eyes!
So satisfying!I knew HJ would have a response to the pipe pics. Pretty good one too!
Dang, she can smoke my bowl anytime.
Oh, well, if she's your own personal smoker, then pardon me, I'm sure . . .

An Image of a Italy I saw fading, a cattle broker with seller and buyer in the act of giving up the hand that was the end of the deal

I photographed until the early nineties the small and less frequent fairs of animals, especially bovine animals, that at the end of the alpine were sold and bought. September was the one dedicated to photographs of a world that has vanished.
This photograph (not mine) is from the fifties.
Notice in each man's hands a kind of tapered stick: the means to accompany the animals to the pasture.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Seems like trading cattle has some sort of international language. Here in Holland the trading took place exactly the same way. Prices went back and forth with a clap of the hand until a deal was struck, then spit and shake. An Image of a Italy I saw fading, a cattle broker with seller and buyer in the act of giving up the hand that was the end of the deal

I don't know...based on the body language and demeanors of the gents on the left and center, it seem the poor guy on the right is being forced to accept an offer he can't refuse.Daniele, there is nothing about that photo I don't adore. That is a great pic; much action in it.
