I agree. It looks like a vintage Knox or a Dobbs.

Thanks. It's probably my favorite hat. I had him send it to me open crown and I gave it a diamond bash. The felt was incredibly easy to shape dry. I found a Sears catalog from 1939, and it had some fedoras with 2 1/4 inch brims, which it described as a "youthful varsity style." I liked the look, so I had this brim made at 2 1/4.

Knotten, you definitely gave it the look, one of my favorite fedora styles! I asked Mike to make me a "Maltese Falcon" Bogart-style hat, sharp pinch, teardrop, etc. Fingers crossed!!!
