As stated on the post, photo was listed as 1919. Be careful assigning a decade to hats based on "style".

I didn't see that until you pointed it out here.
Still, 1920s, 1930s the styles were similar in fedoras. Tall crowns, short brims, thick ribbons. Common in both decades.

How do you think they get Tobacco to grow in Wisconsin. Grow or else it's curtains....SEE!! lol

Thanks, Alan. Yes, quite a bit of tobacco was grown in Wisconsin. I believe mostly for cigars. I don't see as many fields now as when I was a kid. Back when I was in high school (no year given) you could make quite a bit of cash working in the fields. It was backbreaking labor!
