This hat is made with the infamous Mallory felt, the color is coffeetone, the brim is 1 3/4" and it weight 86gr you can find other photos in the Art Fawcett VS hall of fame thread.

This is my first Vintage Silhouette hat. Silver belly beaver fur felt, high crown, 1930's style:











This is my most recent acquisition. I wanted a hat like Howard Hughes wore when he flew his Spruce Goose flying boat. This one is chocolate beaver fur felt, with a lower crown more typical of the 1940's.

not to put a downer on this because it's ALL GOOD, but I am going through Chemo treatments and my hair will be back before the hat I guess :eeek:

Better take that fact into consideration when you size the hat. Hair vs. no hair can make a size difference. Be sure to mention this to Art!
