Deadstock Gaucho Shirt...good deal or no?

I saw this BIN auction for $12.50 and had to ****** it up. http://www.ebay.com/itm/350500068532

Any deadstock 50's shirt that fits for under $20 is a good deal right? Welll...I feel I might have jumped the ***. There is a storage stain across the front. Think it will come out, hoping it's not rust just dirt. to anyone with experience in NOS clothes, what's the best way to wash them?

PS I was just referring to the brand name, I know it's not a typical "Gaucho-style" shirt.

I think it's a GREAT deal. Olive is an unusual color for such shirts, and the pocket flap details are outstanding! A good modern medium size, too.

As for the stain, I've had extremely good luck with Zout in the past. Give it a shot.

It's a surface soil (essentially dust) stain from long storage. A dry cleaner will take it out easily.

I can't begin to tell you how many items I have saved that looked like they were ruined with a soak in oxyclean.

I agree. I'd dry clean this shirt instead. The surface soiling will come right off.
