I've seen some absolutely bizarre photos from the 1890s to the 1920s and it's really a window into the reality of the times. People always assume that Victorian people were stuffy and had no sense of humor, photos like these disprove that myth.

Don't forget Victorian era appreciation.

Yeah a few of these are freak show pictures. Back in the day people used to buy them after walking threw and seeing the visiting freaks. That would be my guess with the short and tall people, and Elk boy. Maybe even the armadillo.

I collect this! No, not for typical reasons lol -- more so because it dispells a lot of myths about "the old days." Really no different than now.
