Ok, I am going to step out on a limb with this one.:eusa_doh: She was cute a youngster but as she reached adulthood; her face kept getting longer and longer. Stop it!
Then again, I was never a real fan of Dunaway either. Its a wash I say. [huh]

Arthur Penn's original Bonnie and Clyde was not even so much about Bonnie and Clyde, as the appearance of a new movie sensibility. A new kind of gangster film, a new kind of love story, a new approach to film storytelling. It was exhilarating and shocking in its day (yes, I saw it in the movies when it was new - I was 12!), but has remained an acknowledged and influential classic of the new wave of American filmmaking of the sixties.

This project is just another attempt to remake an established property with younger faces to extort ticket money from young filmgoers who would otherwise not care about anything set in the 1930s. It will arrive, disappoint vastly in every regard, and be added to the trash bin of misbegotten remakes. And nobody will still be watching or talking about it in 40+ years!

Though I agree with you in concept, I remember when people said Tom Hanks could only do light comedy, and like him or hate him, he has proven he can do much more.

Faye Dunaway was an incredible actress and Hillary Duff is a shoulder-shrug of an actress. I think she will be perfect for this film.
