Personally, I rather enjoy the flavor of Clove chewing gum. I can't speak to Violet and I know from personal experience that Sen-Sen is disgusting.

Here's the source of my avatar. I want this guy's whole outfit someday. I'm not bent on having the '49 Mercury, but I do want a car from the '46-'54 era.

I don't know that I've ever seen any Japanese ads from the 1940's, so I thought this was pretty interesting. It's an ad for Club Cream.

Continuing with the smoking theme, this one from the 60s is much later than the stuff I collect, but it really cracks me up.
