I recently bought a Y’2 N-1 Japan-exclusive hand oiled horsehide and leather is extra rich and soft. The fit is amazing. Might be too warm for California weather. I was looking for a fur lined jacket with storm cuffs and this has them but I am starting to realize it’ll be rare times when I can actually wear it. It gets quite toasty quick.
I may need to put it up on the ad section soon.

Great looking jacket fine sir! awesome timeless design and from the pictures the leather looks great :)

Would love to see some photos of the jacket close up to have a better look at the leather, but for now enjoy that beauty mate :D

Cheers

Came across this jacket, which seems like a decent deal if you like the style:

California? Any chance you could take a trip to Standard & Strange to try one on? Says they have a 38 in stock in store in Berkeley.
Well, I finally made it to Standard and Strange and tried on the size 38 HR-55. It looks very form fitting with the perfect jacket and sleeve lengths for my body. It looks amazing when I have the jacket unzipped and not move. When it's zip, it's tight tight tight where I barely could move my arms.

So size 40 does not have my ideal dimensions, but it's the best fitting size for me. I'm gonna embrace wearing the heck out of the jacket and see how or if it changes in character.
