^^^^^ I love Sierra Hull!
Saw The Rolling Stones on 7/21 at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena near Branson, Missouri.
This was the last stop on the North American leg of their “Hackney Diamonds Tour”. This is a much smaller venue than the other stops and was added due to the relationship between Johnny Morris (my employer) and Chuck Leavell (the Stone’s keyboard player).

The band was as iconic as ever and the opening act (Samantha Fish) was great!

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Stumbled across her on Youtube. Very talented. Would happily enjoy the chance to see her live.Mandolin maniac Sierra Hull and her quartet, at the Ridgefield Playhouse in CT last week. My first time seeing her, and wow, they blew the roof off the place!
She's a tremendous talent in a tiny package, an inspired instrumentalist and fine vocalist, and her band is great. They played awesome traditional bluegrass, progressive bluegrass, spacy jams, some of her own (pretty good) songs, and outstanding cover tunes.
YouTube links for some of those cover songs - not the performances I saw last week, but with the same four-piece backup group she tours with, so they're pretty comparable:
Sierra Hull tours extensively, and if you dig bluegrass, she's absolutely worth seeing if she comes around your neck of the woods...
I usually check a few different places for tickets, but I’ve started using StarTickets.com more often since they seem to have options even when other sites show everything sold out. That site might be worth a look if anyone’s chasing down harder-to-get concert or sports tickets.I saw Elton John last month, and honestly, it was pretty incredible to see how much energy he still brings to his performance. The crowd was a mix of long-time fans and younger people, which made the vibe more fun, and he played all the classics which made everyone sing along. The ticket prices were a bit steep, but for a legend like him, it felt totally worth it once the show started.
