What's your signature hat?

I don't really have a signature hat at the moment, partly because of the extreme seasonal temperature changes (last week it was -15° F and in six months it may reach 100° F) and partly because I don't like any one of my hats or caps significantly more than any other.

But if I did have one, it might be a grey fedora with a wide, dark ribbon and a tall, straight-sided crown, bashed in the vein of Humphrey Bogart, Spencer Tracy and William Powell. I don't have one yet, so I can't be sure I would wear it with everything.

Thanks Carter, it seems to be on my head about 90% of the time I go out the door, despite some stiff competition from quite a few others. And although I have spent way too much $$$ on hats, you know I looked back at the auction for this and recalled I got it for thirteen whole dollars. :eusa_doh:

Thanks man. I would call it a beige, buff, camel, tan or something along those lines. I think it was a color more common in the western line perhaps, 'cause I have seen lots of CB hats in the same color. I will post a photo of the lining when I get the camera back home. It is the color real embroidered liner with the "Last Drop From His Stetson" image of the cowboy & his horse, painted by Lon Megargee for Stetson in the early 20's.

Probably my overall favorite hat for a beater.

Though I do go by "Goose" some buddies call me "Secret Squirell" because of this hat. If I wear something else they say "'Secret' must be undercover today".
