Grilled Bratwurst from a local smoker, home made potato & cottage cheese perogy, store bought kraut.....lots of onion, butter and we prefer yougurt to sour cream.

Aldi's Bison burgers on Aldi's buns. I add onions and Panko bread crumbs to the mix then a sprinkle of garlic and herb spice, then grille.

Tjis is wing Wednesday down at our local tavern. So today it is a biiiig plate of wings and a pint.....def not the healthy choice but certainly a tasty choice.

Chicken ****** stuffed with feta and covered with bruschetta and baked, buttered brown rice and a salad. Son will have plain chicken ****** poached in hot sauce instead of the feta chicken.

After ten days Spanish/Mediterranean diet with loads of peppers, onions, olives, fish and tons of garlic, all washed down with Fino, Blanco and Tinto it’s just dark German rolls with a little Fleischwurst and some Bavarian dark Bock.

Local beef burgers on the grill, oven roasted potatoes with herbs and garlic, asparagus on that same grill!

I bought two huge racks of pork back ribs from Costco with a $10 off coupon. Tonight I broast the second rack along with skillet jalapeno corn bread and a side of green beans. Our weather is still unseasonably cold (even for us) so the upside is having the oven on for an extended period is not a problem. Hopefully that will end soon and I can move some cooking outside to the grill.

It is Wing Wednesday down at our local watering hole.......so, healthy eating be damned it is beers and a huge plate of wings......not a veggie in sight!!!.....not even parsley as a garnish.

My wife is a prairie born girl and her Mom used to make head cheese....along with about everything else. No, my wife won't eat it now as an adult!
