Extral9ng day at work. Grabbed a pizza on the way home. 4 cheese special from Giuseppe's....one of the few mom and pop's left around here.

There was a mom & pop pizza joint in Knob Noster, Missouri. They had the best pizza I've ever had to date. They did a heck of a lot of delivery business to Whiteman AFB.

I just improvised. I cooked wholegrain elbow pasta, put it in the muesli bowl and added extra sharp tomato juice from the tetrapak. Yummy!

How stew with garlic biscuits! I know again, but it is so good.

My wife made a big batch of spanokopita (spinach/feta in filo pastry) and we have 3 left in the freezer. So tonight we have that with grill salmon and tzatziki (yogurt/cucumber/garlic). I may have to venture forth and get us a bottle of retsina to top it off. My wife is of Ukrainian heritage but based on her cooking skills she could pass for Greek!

Fried bologna sandwich with cheddar cheese and mayo. Not exactly health food but damn tasty and another day without going to the grocery store.

Retsina and Ouzo I have always eschewed, lived in Greece for a time and I much prefer Domestica wine
with meals; especially souflaki and potatoes.

Home made pizza. Delicious, but an acute attack of peanut butterits struck.
Almost spread some over a slice or two but caught myself just in time.
After scarfing the pie slices down I made a sandwich and did it right.

I understand. I was home alone last night and had peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwiches for dinner chased down by several gingerbread cookies with a glass of milk on the side.

Roast and potatoes. Slow cooked together. The house smelled like magic. It tasted even better.
