Went out to Azteca last night to celebrate hubby's promotion. He loved his food. Mine was awful (will be writing an urbanspoon review). Lily ate one bit & decided chips&salsa tasted better. I agree!

Tonight I am thinking chicken satay with steamed rice & broccoli.

I had that a couple of nights back. I too had a double helping followed by a second double helping. Sadly, there was nothing left for the next day's leftovers.

Tonight - spaghetti with homemade sauce.
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1 1/2 lb. Italian sausages
Onion
Fresh garlic
Bell pepper
Eggplant
Zucchini
16 fresh tomatoes
Portobello mushrooms
Olives
2 glasses of Merlot
Simmered for several hours.

Smothered pork chops (with extra mushrooms), mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed Southern greens (mustard, turnip, etc.) slow cooked with chicken broth, a bit of apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and some spicy pepper sauce. Oh, and bacon. Yum!

Baked pork chops (mine with Mrs. Dash red pepper seasoning) and Arby's fries (Tapatio hot sauce added of course).

Gosh, you consistently do eat nice home cooked meals. I believe that a year of such home cooked meals and I would be a lot closer to 300 pounds despite my high metabolism.
