I go back to work tomorrow after a week off. I’ve enjoyed sleeping in very late this past week. So to reset my internal clock, today I got up early, walked the dog, and took a walk to grab coffee.

I wore my shearling rancher-style jacket from Drome. An incredibly warm jacket with plush curly shearling lining. It’s one of my favorite non-Aero jackets I own! An older pic, but it gives y’all the idea.

Schott Duke for a day out visiting family. Filson vest came in handy…it was chillier than expected.

Taken here during what should have been golden hour….but it was as gray as the rest of the day

Is there any sweeter feeling than when a jacket drops a day ahead of the last tracking update, on a Sunday no less! Another USN peacoat. 1966 vintage. Stops the Chicago hawk in it’s path. I had planned on copying one of Mr. Propers shearling jackets for the winter but I think I’m going all pea coat. Plenty of room for a quilted vest under. Should cover me to the low 20s.

But you don't need it! That's the thing! You're living in a Grail location. I don't want to wear a leather jacket, I want to be able to never care about leather jackets! I just wanna wear shirts with flowers and jeans and my boots. Boots, okay, you don't need boots but they don't make much difference in heat. Sneakers are actually worse than boots during summer, I swear but back to the point, you're free! You've escaped this hell we're all stuck at. XD

I’ve had this for about 6 months now but this is the first time I’ve worn it. Haven’t been cold enough. Ralph Lauren denim & supply “barnstormer” type jacket that I picked up from the classifieds.

It felt like committing personal blasphemy but I’ve been thinking this Thedi is a little big in the body as perfect fit brain won’t turn off. Then it got cold when the sun went down and there was a perfect amount of space to comfortably wear a warm vest with it buttoned AND sprint after the kiddos with no issues. Plus I discovered yesterday my better half thinks it has a wonderful aroma
