The collar on this 50s jacket could compete with the best of the 70s, at 4 inches from seam to tip.

What jacket did you take to the beach today?

Went out yesterday wearing my GW Capeskin A-1. Probably my lightest jacket, but the first to mold. I have to get it into the sun more often. I want to get a 30s aviator, or half-belt made out of this leather. Beautiful weather this year so far, the rainy season hasn't quite hit yet.

It was a bit too wild today for the Brooks gold, the windproof level of protection required was given by my Father's 70s sheepskin coat. It's a heavy flocka.

Schott Duke for a day out visiting family. Filson vest came in handy…it was chillier than expected.

Taken here during what should have been golden hour….but it was as gray as the rest of the day

Sears Herc. I had it relined and am happy about how it wears in colder weather. I got about 2 yards of quilted lining backed by wool batting courtesy of Greg Field a couple of years ago. Super-warm stuff. I had the jacket relined with it, including the sleeves. Little did I know that the seamstress also replaced all of the pocket fabric with the quilted lining, lol. I can now wear the jacket with just a t-shirt in 32 degree weather.
